Scientists named the most useful way of cooking rice

Millions of people cook rice properly, thereby exposing their health to substantial risk. This opinion was expressed by experts in the field of healthy food from Ireland.

For proper cooking rice should be added to the pot more water and give it brew for the night. Only in this way it is achieved maximum effect in the removal of rice from all traces of hazardous arsenic health, as experiments have shown.

Arsenic enters the rice and poisoning it with industrial toxins and pesticides, which can remain in the soil for decades. It should be noted that experts have long debated what level of arsenic is safe for health. New figures have been approved by regulatory agencies of the European Union in 2016.

Chronic effects on the body of a toxin linked to a number of serious health problems, including developmental disorders in children, cardiovascular disease, diabetes and even cancer. Queens University Belfast Professor Andy Meerg and colleagues tested three methods of cooking rice specially for the TV program "Trust me, I'm a doctor," the BBC channel.

In the first method he used on many packages recommended ratio of water and rice two to one in which the water is completely evaporated in the preparation. In the second, he poured the 5 servings of water per serving of rice, then drain the excess fluid. At the same time the level of arsenic in the cooked rice was reduced by almost half.
