Scientists from the University of Copenhagen in Denmark found that regular use of social networks can lead to a bad mood and reduce the feeling of life satisfaction.
More than a thousand people took part in the experiment scientists. They were divided into two groups: those who used social networks on a daily basis and those who refused to social media for a week.
As a result, it was found that participants in the experiment from the second group a week later stated that they feel better.
At the same time their own life satisfaction grew in direct proportion to the time they spent on social networks.
Experts note that the approaching New Year and New Year's holiday an excellent opportunity to give yourself a break from social networks.
